Drama classes  Grades 4 – 6.

Important update Nov 17: Our Wednesday and Thursday classes are full. There is are TWO spots left on Tuesday, so grab 'em!

We focus on acting techniques from beginning to advanced, with lots of personal attention. Students will explore monologues and small scenes with other actors, learn how to prepare for an audition, and play improvisatory and other drama games. There is a small amount of homework between classes, mostly involving learning scenes for the next week, and eventually memorizing lines for the showcase. The showcase will be video-recorded on the final day of class, there will not be a live performance during this session.

Classes are one-day-per week, after school from 2:45pm to 4:15pm. We start the first week of January and end the week before February break. These classes will also offer audition prep for our upcoming musical, Annie.

Tuesday and Wednesday classes will take place at the American Legion/VFW facility at 386 Washington Street because of limited space at Pierce. We've been taking kids there for years; it's clean and safe. Please read more about this by downloading the Important Program Info document below.
